The insight behind the innovation
We reached out in a survey, asking what customers needed next from us. The response was overwhelming: a treatment mask that actually works on fine or thinning hair.
You highlighted damage, dryness and breakage as core hair concerns and said that when you’d tried other masks, they’d overloaded your fine hair with silicones and rich actives, leaving it flat and weighed down by heavy build-up.
We knew we had to make change happen.
The detail’s in the delivery
Dryness, breakage and styling damage require high performance actives, yet many repair technologies rely on rich formulations that can sit heavily on fine hair and reduce natural movement and volume. Weight is the very opposite of what fine, thinning hair needs, so we set to work on developing a bespoke delivery system that produced results in the lightest possible way.
The simplest way to describe Chāmpo Liquid Crystal™ technology is as a ‘smart mesh’. Each liquid crystal (aka lamellar) structure arranges hydrating and strengthening actives into microscopic layers that mimic hair’s natural lipid structure (hair’s natural oils). These settle evenly and weightlessly over the hair fibre, targeting damaged areas without over-conditioning and, therefore, preserving natural volume.
